Short Epilogue: About the Indispensability of Discipline
(A Critical View Upon The Own Existence) …

In the “code of ethics” of a society, where satisfaction of virtually suggested needs and bare images are quintessential, where “regimes” of self-made and self-constituent elites act “alternativelessly”, the mature citizen reflecting and acting in his own responsibility is no longer welcome. Earnestly and permanently exercised DISCIPLINE, focusing a life in dignity for oneself, fellow human being, and nature, shall be replaced by dull swarm intelligence.

Nonetheless, the world and the arrogant, egomaniac acting of the world´s tycoons prove that at last all things remain like they were anytime. Alledged progress, meanwhile eco-ideologically radicalized in an insanely hyped-up manner, falls hardly back down to earth, cruelly retrieved by the principles of human history lasting for about sixthousand years – a successful “Great Reset” indeed!

Facing the own helplessness the sense of each human existence on earth is – historically immanent as well – simply expressed: The individual welfare is ensured in the predominant and sincere ambition of all own action to ensure the welfare of all the others as well.

In order to realize this and to act accordingly, however, reason is required. Acting by reason means:

TO EXCEED THE OWN VIRTUES AND ASSETS
IN HARMONY WITH THE ENVIRONMENT.

This central claim, set up as simple as incontestable, challenges, as it were a modern categorial imperative, the primacy of an exuberant, uncontrolled, colorfully dazzling “individual fulfilment”, which at the best imposes on itself, as a moral compromise, a little bit of “social responsibility”.

The individual life with action led by intelligence and reason, the constant efforts to reduce pain already in the own narrow environment, is a perpetual strenuous effort. This requires alltime labor and utmost concentration, additionally a sensitive lot of tolerance towards the different. Such a life can never be boring: More than enough powers are opposite which the fair-minded ceaselessly must overcome. The market of senseless challenges, which adrenaline junkies, captured in their mental hollowness, are looking for, is absolutely dispensable as well as the ethically disguised patronizing and dominating behavior by autocrats resistant against any kind of criticism, or by dissembling pharisaic elites.

So what, in this huge chaos, in the ocean of suffering and tribulations, is the sense of my life? What can I effect as a “small light”, flashing up shortly, expiring, and vanishing in the darkness of oblivion?

Only this: I must strenuously strive for being beneficial in my “narrow environment”. Who can say about himself: “This was my life. I have deliberately burnt myself out with all efforts, and yes, I have experienced that this has been recognized as pleasant in my narrow environment.” – who can say this honestly to his mirror image at the end, has done everything right, has really lived from the first second to the last, from the flashing to the expiring of his light. Then it is also less important how long this life was and what was the manner how it ended, because also the passing loses its fright. The question „may I have missed anything?” becomes irrelevant.

Will I be qualified for a happy life then? Not at all! My claim is the cosmic chaos and death. All beyond this claim I have, at least partially, also in my own hands. The more I raise virtue and discipline, the more they rub off on my narrow world around and make it worth living or even loving. Doing this we may not retire, each of us for oneself and all together collectively. Let us have our life, our self “in order”, in defiance of each chaos and of every hysteria of psychopathic rulers who only fuel the chaos, and let us keep safe, with a souvereign but always self-critical point of view, our narrow order in our environment – nature AND human! -, ideally for its own advantage and consequently again for ours. Perhaps we are even regarded with a widespread resonance – but, please, not painstakingly gaining for this! It is necessary to concentrate power on all this what is within range of our power.

Last but not least also the idea of a world BEYOND this world is as old as mankind can think. Is it even – if more than only an imaginary longing – the ultimate destination? That does not release us from the innermost focus to the here and now, because THIS is the sphere of our awareness and the essential responsibility for what encloses us. The future will come afterwards …

Unimaginable if we, led by ONE COMMON spirit, could assist one another therein …

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky …

Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too …

The refrain expresses the – as anytime in history – not achieved hope:

You, you may say I’m a dreamer,
But I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
